Postpartum
Postpartum is a word we use to describe a very special stage of life after having a baby. It is a time of vulnerability, new life, beauty and often great struggle. I support my clients postpartum with a visit after I attend their birth, and often by answering questions via texts and emails for some time after that.
The amount of support each family may need varies, and some would benefit deeply in having the additional resources. Postpartum doulas are trained professionals who support the new family in their adjustment period. I have included here on this page some professional resources I know and trust.

Hello I am Amanda!
I am a postpartum doula serving Reading and Berks County, and a member of DONA International.
